Aries Spears was arrested for groping a woman early Saturday morning following his set at Comix Comedy Club in Manhattan.

He was released from jail on his own recognizance.

Spears headlined two shows at Comix on Friday and was scheduled to perform on Saturday also, but the club gave him the night off.

"We want to give him time to deal with his personal matters," a rep for the club told the New York Daily News.
