Sarah Stokes former member of the once popular group Da Band was arrested August 2 after police were called....
to her residence for the stabbing. According to the police,`Her and her husband Tony were arguing and somehow she slipped and fell and proceeded to stab her husband at least 3 times. By the way this whole incident took place in front of their three children.
Sarah & her husband Tony had a huge argument and Sarah stormed out of the room. While she was storming out, she tripped hurting her head. She thinks her husband knocked her over but from what the police report says she just tripped. I thinking for her to think that her husband made her fall he must have been chasing after her and the fall is the reason she's so scratched and bloody so in the heat of the moment. She grabs a knife and stabs her husband three times.
Sarah has been charged with domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.
From the statement she issued through her lawyer she's in denial mode.
“Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.”
I'll keep you posted on whether or not the D.A. plans to press formal charges.
