She claims from 11/08 to 4/09, her average monthly income was around $21,616. I would kill to make that much in a month but Kelis says her expenses range around $80,831 a month.
A quick breakdown of some of here monthly bills explains why she's going broke. According to TMZ,
She spends $14,861 on her mortgage. Her nanny costs $3,500 a month. She spends $15,000 a month on entertainment, gifts and vacations -- not too shabby. And she says it cost $175 to have the "baby rug dry cleaned."
Kelis also to the court that her main source of income is touring and because of her wifely "duties" she hasn't toured in over a year.
