The 21-year-old rapper had just arrived in L.A. to do some work on his upcoming summer album release.

It's rumored that he got in an argument with someone at the airport and he was followed to the Beverly Center where he was shopping.

I had the opportunity to interview Dolla not too long ago. The excitement he had when talking about his career came natural. He spoke of his rough childhood (at 5 he saw his father commit suicide), the ups and downs he had previously experienced in his previous stab at music (at 13 he signed his first music contract), his upcoming album, and his summer club banger, "Who the F*** Is That" feat. T-Pain.

Dolla had a dream and he was on the right path to achieving that goal.

Dolla accepted the fact that he had to put a lot of work in order to succeed, and he was humble enough to know that he wasn't the only priority at his label home, Akon's Konvict Musik.

Although his buzz was as strong as he would have liked, he was enjoying the success he had so far.

Dolla's dream was taken away from him too soon.

The foolishness has to end.
