T.I.'s single "Whatever You Like" soared from #71 to #1 in just three weeks. He surpassed Maroon 5's previous record of jumping from #64 to #1 just last year.
"Whatever You Like" is T.I.'s first #1 single as a solo artist (he was at #1 before when featured on Justin Timberlake's "My Love"). His opening week digital numbers are the best by a rap song since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking them data in 2003.
T.I. has also had a very strong buzz with his newly leaked track produced by Kanye West, "S.L.U. (Swagger Like Us)". T.I.'s album, Paper Trail hits stores September 30th.
