A friend of Bernie Mac has said the harsh criticism he received after performing at an Obama promo stop broke Bernie Mac's heart and led to his untimely death.

Last month, Bernie Mac was invited to perform one of his comedy routines in Chicago and the routine wasn't accepted too well by the audience. Each person in attendance paid $2,500 a ticket, so they were a little uptight about things. There was even a point where one person said, “It’s not funny. Let’s get Barack on.”
When Barack took the stage he made a little joke:
“We can’t afford to be divided by race. We can’t afford to be divided by region or by class and we can’t afford to be divided by gender, which by the way, that means, Bernie, you’ve got to clean up your act next time… “This is a family affair. By the way, I’m just messing with you, man.“
Obama's camp quickly issued a statement regarding the standup routine and told Mac he was not longer able to perform on any more of Obama's tour stops.
The family friend says that Mac felt betrayed just like Ludacris had to feel once Obama threw him under the bus.
Let me say this, this is ignorance at his finest!
