Musician Ike Turner died yesterday in San Diego.

Ike was best known for the work he did with his ex-wife Tina Turner.

Although they had a bumpy road, the music they made while together was classic. They belted out hits like Rollin On The River, I Want To Take You Higher, It's Gonna Work Out Fine,and Proud Mary .

Ike Turner's name will live on and he will be remembered by many.

Ike reportedly had emphysema, though it is not known if that was the cause of his death.

Ike Turner was 76.
