Mary J. Blige has been in the game for a while now and she is still selling records like she used to.

Mary didn't have that much promotion, besides teh iTunes commercials and a few commercials on BET (I can't accurately state what the Geffen Records street team did), but her newest release Growing Pains dropped 640K in the first week.

With downloading music being a heavy blow to the industry, this is a major accomplishment!
