Writer Chuck Phillips, from the LA Times, has been doing his investigative work. He recently wrote an article on the infamous Tupac shooting in New York at the Quad Studios.
Not only does he support his writings with evidence, he also paints a clear picture that allows one to think that Sean Combs, aka Diddy, played a part in the attack which grew into the East vs. West beef. It was that same East vs. West beef that led to the untimely deaths of Tupac in September of 1996 and Biggie in March of 1997.
Now, newly discovered information, including interviews with people who were at the studio that night, lends credence to Shakur's insistence that associates of rap impresario Sean "Diddy" Combs were behind the assault. Their alleged motives: to punish Shakur for disrespecting them and rejecting their business overtures and, not incidentally, to curry favor with Combs.
