DJ Toomp is planning to join the ranks of Kanye, Swizz Beats, and Timbaland.

DJ Toomp has revealed that his is working on his solo album that will be "...a mixture of R&B and hip-hop, kinda like a Quincy Jones album. I'm not really trying to do a compilation, though. So many people have already done that."

Toomp says he will be rapping on the album and has a pretty nice guest list. So far he has tapped T.I., Ludacris, Rick Ross and Pastor Troy to be on the album.

"Everybody I've really worked with has been real supportive of what I've been doing. I've been letting everybody know what I've been working on, so it may be an interesting album once I get it together," says Toomp.
